5E ASSEMBLY

THEME: Cleanliness

DATE: 26th August 2022

The class assembly of V- E was based on the theme Cleanliness. The assembly started with morning prayer, played on the keyboard by one of the students, followed by the thought for the day, morning news and a mellifluous group song ‘Clean India, Let’s Clean India’. A group of students presented a skit to show the importance of clean air, water and environment. The strategy of making ‘My Go-to Kit’ was also shared with the audience wherein they were shown all that they can carry before heading out of their homes to avoid using non- biodegradable items which are harmful for the environment. As part of the kit, the audience was told to carry a bag with them containing a small bowl, steel water bottle, cloth handkerchief and small plate. The assembly concluded with a beautiful dance on cleanliness song ‘आओ करें  मिलकर यह वादा स्वच्छता हम लाएंगे’.

 

5D ASSEMBLY

 

  THEME: Reading

 

DATE: 31st August 2022

 

The students of class V- D conducted their assembly on the theme- Reading. The students threw light on the importance of reading in our lives by sharing their views about it. They made an impact on the audience through book reviews, ways to make reading a habit as well as famous and inspiring quotes. They made the case even stronger and more appealing by performing a power packed dance and by singing a melodious song titled ‘It’s a Beautiful Day’. The students brought the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin alive by enacting the story with appropriate costumes and props. The Headmistress lauded the students for their efforts and parents were enthralled watching their children on stage after almost two years.


5C ASSEMBLY

THEME: Unsung Heroes’ Untold Stories

DATE: 17th August 2022

The assembly had hundred percent participation of students. All the students spoke some lines, danced and sang a song. The theme touched upon the information about the life and work of the lesser-known people who contributed to the Indian freedom struggle. The children drew inspiration from their life stories.

5A ASSEMBLY

THEME: Relevance of Yoga for Children

DATE: 29th June 2022

Yoga is a science, science of well-being, science of youthfulness, science of integrating body, mind and soul. The class assembly began with a beautifully sung song about yoga. The focal point of the assembly was – Children live in a world of constant, non-stop stimulation, with things like computer games, advertising and competitive sports making up their day-to-day reality. Yoga helps to counter these stressors. The students demonstrated several asanas like – Surya namaskar, Tadasana, Trikonasana, Vajrasana, Shashankasana, Cat pose, Dog pose, Bhujangasana, Butterfly pose to name a few. Then the students of V-A swayed to the beats of Adiyogi, a beautiful composition by Prasoon Joshi and Kailash Kher.

The assembly concluded with a self- composed poem by the students on Yoga.

5B ASSEMBLY

THEME: Bhasha Sangam

DATE: 8th August 2022

The class assembly of 5B was based on the theme of ‘Bhasha Sangam’– Celebrating the confluence of languages and diversity of India. In the 75th year of independence marked by ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, we are fortunate in this Amrit Kaal to experience the confluence of languages. In keeping with this spirit and strengthening our connection through 22 languages and many more dialects, students gave everyone a glimpse of a conversation between two friends in different languages like English, Hindi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Gujarati and Bengali. Students sang one of the most beautiful, inspiring and popular songs ‘Hind Desh ke Niwasi Sabhi Jan Ek Hain, Rang Roop Vesh Basha Chahe Anek’ and presented our diversity through a beautiful dance about who we are- ‘You Know Very Well That We Are India’.

 

3C ASSEMBLY

THEME: Bhasha Sangam

DATE: 30th September 2022

The class assembly of III-C was based on the theme of ‘Bhasha Sangam’. It focused on the linguistic diversity in India. It commenced with the song ‘Hind Desh ke Niwasi’ sung by the students. A group of students dressed in the attires of the various states of India, shared exciting information about eleven of the twenty-two official languages of our country. The students presented a dance on the popular track ‘Suno Gaur Se Duniyawalo’. The Headmistress addressed the gathering and threw insights on India’s cultural and linguistic diversity

PREP E ASSEMBLY – 20.9.22

THEME:  Rainbow – the Colours of HappinessDATE:  20th September 2022

The students of Class Prep E welcomed the audience with a short address followed by singing a song on counting the colours of the rainbow.

This was followed by the young performers highlighting the uniqueness of each colour in the rainbow and the unison of all the colours weaving happiness and hope. The students also highlighted how every storm is followed by sunshine and rainbows with a short poetic role play. This was followed by sunny and cheerful dance performances, with loud applause and cheer from the audience.

Towards the end, the Interim Headmistress, Ms. Sangeeta Malik, struck the perfect chord by reiterating the core values of deriving happiness by appreciating the little things in life and also encouraging the budding performers by appreciating their efforts.

2B ASSEMBLY – 3.8.22

Venue: Basketball Court – II A, B, C, D, E and F
Attended by – I. Headmistress, Sangeeta Malik ma’am, Supervisor, Madhuri Sahgal ma’am, class teachers, Rep, students of all sections A-F and parents of 2B.
The theme for the class assembly was friendship wherein the students enthusiastically participated in all the activities, including a beautiful song followed by a skit-The Rainbow Fish by “Marcus Fiester”.The assembly ended with the energetic dance of the students. Overall, the performance was well appreciated by all the parents.

2C ASSEMBLY – 10.8.22

Venue: Basketball Court – II A, B, C, D, E and F
Attended by – I. Headmistress, Sangeeta Malik ma’am, Supervisor, Madhuri Sahgal ma’am, class teachers, Rep, students of all sections A-F and parents of 2C.
The theme for the class assembly was Independence day wherein the students participated with great gusto. Our young kids were dressed up in the attire of famous personalities such as Netaji, Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Rani Laxmibai etc. The assembly started with a patriotic song followed by speaking famous slogans of our freedom fighters. At last, a beautiful patriotic dance was performed by the students.

2A ASSEMBLY – 27.7.22

Venue: Basketball court

Attended by – I. Headmistress, Sangeeta Malik ma’am, Supervisor, Madhuri Sahgal ma’am, class teachers, Rep, students of all sections A-F and parents of 2A.

The theme was Monsoons. Children spoke about fun times & flaws faced during the rainy season. They recited a Hindi poem, sang a song and danced to the theme song of monsoon.
